Led by executive chef Joe Vigorito (Via Carota)—who also helped see L’Artusi through all of the challenges brought on by the pandemic—b’artusi is an intimate gathering place for the community they’ve called home for more than a decade. Designed by Carpenter + Mason, the 40-seat space offers bar and table seating with black and white checkered floors and warm green accents to create a cozy atmosphere.
B'artusi is located around the corner from its beloved West Village predecessor, L’Artusi, a neighborhood favorite going on 13 years.

Opened in December 2008, L'Artusi is named for Pellegrino Artusi, (1820-1911) and his self-published cookbook La Scienza in Cucina e L'Arte di Mangiare Bene (The Science of Cookery and the Art of Eating Well). L'Artusi presents a modern take on traditional Italian cuisine, combining comfort and creativity.

Fairfax is an all-day neighborhood cafe and wine bar. Fairfax is part of the Happy Cooking family of restaurants, started by restauranteur Gabriel Stulman. Joseph Leonard, Jeffrey's Grocery, Fedora and bar Sardine, all in the West Village, are also part of the family. The best slice in the city. Joe’s was established in 1975 by Joe Pozzuoli, originally from Naples, Italy. Joe's is still an independently owned business and has been a Greenwich Village institution for over 37 years.
Sevilla Restaurant has served up delicious heaped platefuls of seafood paella and jugs of sangria to hungry West Villagers since 1941. Inside, you’ll see remnants of its former life as the Talk of the Town Irish tavern, like murals, the original bar and wood-cut ceiling.
